Please pray...

We just got news today that another Georgia family's little boy passed away in Ethiopia. We are truly heartbroken for them. Tears streamed down both our faces when we heard about this. Baby Samuel was in the same orphanage as Brighton, so as you can imagine, we are truly feeling their pain.

We ask that you lift this family up to the Lord in prayer as they go through this difficult time. As we have said before to many of you, we are not the first or last family this has happened to. This family needs our support and prayers.

Our hearts ache for the loss of their precious son...and he IS their son.

God bless you Samuel.

Here is their blog if you would like to leave them an encouraging word: What a Wonderful World

I am so very sorry for them. This tells us a lot about the magnitude of problems in Ethiopia and many other similar third world countries and the children and parents are facing.

Please continue praying for other families who are loosing their sons and daughters far away. As Tymm and Laura pointed out last week, please continue to pray for Ethiopia, Africa, and many other developing countries and their children.

Tymm & Laura I am sure that God is providing you comfort and strength during this very difficult time of your life. God can use you both in comforting and strengthening others going down the same path you have been and are going through. No one understands better than you how heartbreaking it is and how to understand the time and will of God in this.

God Bless,

Challa

We read this today as well, and our hearts just break again. We are so sorry that another child will not experience the love of his family. We will continue to pray for Ethiopia and the orphanges there.

That is just awful, I went to their blog and it just broke my heart. You can feel their pain. I pray that things in Ethiopia get better and these innocent little ones stop dying.

I am in an adoption group with Stephanie (Samuels Mom), I am devastated by her loss, and yours, and two other families this week that have lost their children.

I just wanted to let you know that many people have you, and your family in our prayers.

Stephanie is a dear friend who I met through this adoption blog world. I can't believe how similar your stories are. I wish you so much strength through your own journey and will be praying that all moves along for you smoothly. You look like such a beautiful couple. I wish you well...

I just saw on Stephanie's blog that you all decided to move forward and accept another referral. I am looking forward to seeing your little baby in your arms. That is such a hard decision, when I lost Payton, I remember feeling guilty but you know what..I learned that I had enough love in my heart to love both her and Pacey. Good luck to you both and to your baby waiting for you across the ocean.

Hi,
I found you on another international adoption blogroll and stopped by your site for a visit. I'm also adopting, but from Uzbekistan. Good luck on your journey and I look forward to following your progress.
