Hanging With Daddy

One of the clubs you get jumped in to when you become a new parent is this underground consignment world. It's nuts - and a little scary. So Laura scored her an early entry due to having a child under 12 months - so she was out the door at 5:30 with her laundry basket with a rope tied to it (so so weird to me).

That left me and Meron to hang out. What a blast. We chilled on the floor. I bugged her with the camera. We hopped in the Xterra and rolled to World Market. She talked me in to getting her a new stuffed animal (we really just went for a toy container of some sort). She stole some hearts in there. Then we hit Publix - new stuffed toy in tow. She stole a few more hearts.

After that it was home for a bath, dinner, some reading from her bible and bedtime.

We missed mommy a ton tonight - but thanks Meron for keeping me company (oh - and Laura scored BIG TIME at the consignment sale.)

can't wait to see the loot you got at the consignment sale ... we have those here also ... you can really rack up ...

glad daddy/daughter date night was a success ... should make it a tradition and know that as she gets older her taste will get way more expensive than a stuffed

I know I've said it a hundred times, but I LOVE her smile. :-)

I've been reading your blog for a while now, however this is my first time to leave a comment!

Meron has to be one of the most beautiful, happiest babies I have ever seen in my life!!!!!! God sure poured out His blessings on all of you!! She is breath-taking and seems to be so incredibly sweet!! When I see her pictures and those eyes, I can't stop help but to smile.

Thank you for sharing her with us... we are blessed too by you sharing your incredible story of love, hope and faith with us. God is good!!
