Proud To Be an American

America is a wonderful place. Sure - it has its issues and opinons abound on all kinds of stuff. But ask anyone who has traveled outside the nice safe borders of our country and experienced life elsewhere - and I bet they'll tell you - America is a wonderful place.

We have been blessed to be first-hand witnesses over the past 6 months of what it takes to make this country the beautiful safe place that it is. It takes sacrifice. A lot of it.

During this time Meron was happy to be part of a covert operation that offered support from the stateside. She hung out with Sophia - she goofed around with her - tried to keep her smiling.

And today Meron, mommy and daddy were blessed again to be at the airport to welcome home one heck of a soldier. This guy is an incredible follower of Christ - an amazing husband and daddy - a darn good runner - and one heck of an American.

He and his family sacrificed a lot over the past 6 months to continue to ensure that America stays the beautiful place that it is. Words can't express how thankful we are for your family and the sacrifices you guys all made.

Thank you Team R. Thank you so much.
