It Ain't All Fun and Games...

Truth be told - it really IS almost all fun and games. Meron has been a blessing and a ridiculously easy child. But every now and then - we mess the whole thing up as parents!

This weekend we were on a whirlwind trip to NC to see some family. Saturday was a long day of playing and visiting for Meron. She had an absolute blast and hopefully brought some sunshine to some people.

But after being prematurely brought out of her "car nap" not once, not twice - but THREE times... she let us know that she adhered to a strict "3 strikes" policy and she was invoking it pronto!

Duly noted sweet girl! We will try not to schedule you like that again!

They really do have their own schedules and do not like to change their routine. This is true for all kids, but some are more flexible than others. Sheridan really likes to keep things predictable even to the point of asking about breakfast and activities the night before.

She is still precious, even with that really mad face on! Love the baseball analogy- it really is never too young to start them on the game.
