Well - we are officially "Gladney Approved" now. Feels good. Feels like we reached a milestone of some sort. All this time our homestudy was being completed we were also able to be preparing our dossier in tandem - so we are actually doing pretty good.
Next up? Waiting on the good ole US Government - we need to get our USCIS approval and then we're off to the races. Circumstances are a lot different this time around and we've taken a much more faithful and laid back approach (we've already learned about all we could about control).
We know God has long ago chosen our daughter - Meron's sister - and we are trying to be patient - to be still and know He is God while praying daily for her safety and that even now, at her young age, that she can be making an impact for God wherever He has her at the moment.
We can't wait to bring you home girl - we got lots of love up here in Camp Hoffman just stored up and waiting for ya!

I'm praying for your family both in America and in Africa. I hope she gets to come home soon!
May not be able to read about Camp HOffman anmore..SO sad.. I get too may happy tears clouding my vision..
Yall rock!
Our next little girl will have big
sister, Meron, to teach her so many things. Can you imagine that? Since Meron talks all the time except when she is singing, our next little Hoffman may sing first and talk later! I promise to pray every day for this little girl just like I pray for Meron. Love you all.
NC Granny
Congrats.
M
Congratulations. We can't wait to see you guys soon. I am sure Meron will love being a big sister.
Cathy
Congratulations - I'll be praying hard!
Congrats on this next step! I've just been going thru the I-800 process myself the last couple of months...(still waiting on China!) Meron is so beautiful. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!
congrats guys! one more step out of the way!
amazing how much more laid back it is with #2?! i KNOW that God created silas for our family, so i have so much more faith in the Lord's timing this time (should have last time too...but God really chose to grow me during that time).
good luck with USCIS...hopefully they are speedy :)
