Happy Halloween!

Cold weather. Delicious Chili. Great friends. Door to door getting free candy? Matching pajamas? Does it get any better?

Meron had a blast tonight hanging out with her pals and getting her first taste of "Trick or Treat!"

My personal favorite? Meron was in a group of kids at one door - the guy answered the door and had his face painted all crazy. Meron took one look at him - turned around and bolted! No candy was worth that!!

[2 parties + 1 Day] x Cupcakes = FUN!

Meron had a BUSY day today! Mommy and I met her at her school this afternoon for some cupcakes, snacks and goodie bags for her classmates. She had a blast!

Then it was off to our friends Kelli and Scott's house for their Pumpkin Carving Party. We carved what only seemed right...

Whew!

Monster Mash

We love us some Halloween around here at Camp Hoffman. We've got a pumpkin party on Friday and some serious trick-or-treating on Saturday... but for now... we'll do the Monster Mash!

Happy Birthday Laney Bug!

A couple weeks ago Meron got to celebrate her good pal Laney's birthday... and she had a blast!

Judging from the hat towards the end of the party - I'm thinking somebody spiked the water! Here's to many, many more Laney!

Amazingly Corny Fun

2 weeks ago - when the weather gave it's first hint of turning fallish - we jumped at the opportunity to throw on our wintercoats and head back out to the corn maze we visited last year.

Wow - what a difference a year makes in the corn maze! Toddlers, toddlers, everywhere! Meron had a blast - and we are so grateful for the incredible group of friends we are blessed to have in our lives! Thaks guys - can't wait til next year!

Post Run Chill Out

The whole fam went out for a 9 mile run on Saturday morning. Meron was a total trooper - she didn't really complain one time. She was even patient through the post-run chillout - Thanks Meron for a relatively easy longer run!

Under Our Umbrella-ella-ella-ella

Meron and I beat mommy home today - and instead of sitting inside watching Arthur (boring!) - we decided to throw our raincoats on, pop the beach umbrella up at the end of the driveway in the rain and drag a few chairs down there to wait for mommy to get home.

Meron had a blast and kept saying "Silly daddy!" She has me pegged already... (and mommy jumped in on the fun when she got home too!)

We talk about Brighton a lot in our house - and Meron knows that she has a brother that went home to be with Jesus...

It's my hope and prayer that she will grow up knowing the significance of who he was and how he impacted her family, her world and THE world...

Meron spent the morning celebrating the birthday of one of her best buds in the world. Sophia turned 2 and Meron was more than ready to party on with her! Thanks Sophia for being such a great friend - heres to many, many more parties!
