Ya Got Me Trapped

Snow in Atlanta will do that to ya. It shut down the highways with ice. Cleared the shelves of bread, milk and eggs. GA Tech even shut down for the day (which they NEVER do). Yep - we got hit with some snow...

If you look REAL close you'll see the roof is white. The bushes had a light dusting. The grass had a hint of white to it. Pretty intense stuff.

The temperature alone probably warranted the city-wide shutdown. Look at poor Clay Bear - freezing his tail off while we made him wait and pose for a cute "snowflake in hair" picture when all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere warm.

Even "under-inflated-green-ball" - our permanent front yard fixture - got in on the action and sported a wig of snow for a while.

We did venture out to pick up a stranded friend, get some Chick-Fil-A, and make sure Target didn't miss us. Which for a family that is constantly on the go - was the equivalent of being trapped. Ya know what though? It kinda felt good to be forced to slow down for a day.

Thanks snow, ole buddy! Hope to see you again soon!
