That's too bad. Sometimes people just don't think. :(
You go Meron! We love your hair!!!
~Anne
Only an awesome creator could make beautiful curly hair like your Meron. You have wonderful parents - you just keep covering your ears to the cowards of the world!
Meron....way to go! My little girl, Maryn, has amazing , beautiful hair, just like yours! Everyone we meet says they wish they had it:)
At first I thought... don't give in to it. But then I saw your response and realized that it is perfect!!!! It does hurt when people lash out at us especially when it is regarding our children. I don't know that people can always honestly say the things that they feel. It is ashame that they bothered to say it in such a hurtful manner.
Meron, you are our favorite little girl! We talk about you on a daily basis here and we think your hair is beautiful and you were blessed with the best mommy on the planet!
Meron,
Don`t let anyone fool you, you have great hair.
You know you have a great mommy, that is really all that matters.
Ms. Meron, you have the most beautiful hair and a wonderful mommy who worries if daddy will be able to fix your hair when she is caring for orphans in Africa. Your beautiful smile also matches your beautiful hair!
Blessings.
Why would anyone say something ugly about two precious creations of Almighty God? My daughter and my granddaughter are both loving and beautiful so why would you be so mean? Their comments say nothing about Meron and her Mommy but say much about the writer. A mean spirit needs our prayers and needs a heart that knows kindness.
Plus someone needs to teach that person about what is beautiful and what is not!

Great post! We all love Meron's hair and she has a couple of the most awesome parents I have ever met. Anonymous knows nothing about the heart of Jesus and how he creates beautiful families. Love ya lots.
Ughhh... Don't even know what to say about such a mean comment. I just know that Meron is beautiful inside and out!
I am sad for this person :( . . . I love reading your blog and following all the great things your family is doing. Thank you for sharing :) Meron is a such beautiful little girl!!!
I LOVE the pictures of Meron each morning I start my day with them! She is a beautiful girl that shares her joy and love with her smiles! I can't wait to meet her one day and hug her to pieces!
Do what I did this week - pray for someone you never thought you would pray for! It makes the world look right! God loves you Meron, Tymm and Laura - and so do I!!
Love, nana and mom in PA
I just wonder what Anonymous' hair looks like? Definately not cute like yours, Meron. :)
People pay big bucks to have beautiful curls like your daughter's. If absolutely adoring a child equates to being a bad parent- you are both guilty. What a beautiful family, what a lucky family . Too bad that racism, stupidity and jealousy still exist today.
Dear Meron
My Mommy says dont you worry about ANON - whoever they are is just jealous that they dont have such pretty hair and such a wonderful loving mom as you!
My mommy also says that you are a beautiful little African princess!!!
Much love
Imaan
I think this is the greatest response!!!! Meron is beautiful!!!!
I enjoy following your blog:)

I have been thinking about little Meron and her Mommy off and on all day and also thinking about the person who was so unkind. I am pleased to see so many are praying for that person. May I suggest that every one of us who cares about Meron and her family will pray every day for a week for this person. If enough of us pray, surely the Lord will speak to such a cruel heart. A cruel heart needs the Lord more than he even knows. Let's all pray please.

Dear Meron..
I think you are beautiful and I think you have a GREAT mommy (and daddy). I have been following your blog for a LONG time and I have even showed your pictures to my husband and BOYs and said I want a little girl that looks just like her:)
That anonymous coward person is not a nice person. I agree with your smart Granny..I think we need to pray for this person.
Hugs to you and your wonderful family:)
Meron,
Can't say enough ways how wonderful your parents are Meron or how much they have loved you when you were but a dream planted in their hearts by God. They continue to bless God by walking the walk instead of talking the talk. They are the total package as are you - little dearest one.
I would like to add a little Irish Wisdom as I pray for the ignorant anonymous poster.
May those that love us, love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles
So we will know them by their limping.
Welcome to the crappy side of having a blog. I am sorry you got hit with a rude comment. Remember, you have the right to delete anything you want.
Tymm, Laura, and Meron -
Just want you to know that I love, love, love your blog, Meron's hair and your family! Sorry to hear that someone was mean - I think that some folks are just so unhappy that they lash out at others just to make themselves feel better. It's very sad. I think praying for them is the right thing to do. Also I have a niece who is Kenyan and her hair is alot like Meron's absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I'm sure you can see it on my blog :) Everyone's hair is different and including style and texture - Meron is beautiful. Keep posting we love you all!
First I'd say Meron's hair is beautiful, however that is not the important that that is displayed so gloriously on your blog. You are clearly a loving wonderful family who is a blessing to all who read this blog. The person who left that nasty comment is exactly what Daddy says - a coward! Thank you for all of the blessings you do for this world, and for the love you display to EVERYONE including the unfortunate person who left that comment.
I have been following your blog since we decided to adopt again with Gladney and I have always thought that your daughter has such beautiful curls! I have almost asked so many times what products you use! Your response was brilliant and I admire you for dealing with the situation rather than letting it slip away... We're one spot below you on the FBI list... Maybe we'll travel around the same time!
Great comeback letter Meron!! I'd give you a big high 5 if I were there!! Your mommy and daddy's love for you just pours out of your blog...keep on rockin those gorgeous curls!! Tess and I love them!! OXO
Oh my gosh...why would someone do that!? I'm so sorry, that must have killed you. Meron is breathtaking and Laura was created by God to be a Mommy so I know she's awesome at the job. I'm so sorry that you were hurt!
OK, I rarely leave a comment, but I have to commend you on how you handled this Meron!! :)
Eli loves your curls (so do his mommy and daddy!) and we think you have pretty special parents.
I'm sad that anyone would ever say anything mean to or about you!
I just wanted to say that I've been following your blog for a long time now and I just love it. I'm interested in adopting one day and that's what brought me to you, what kept me is the love shown here both for the Lord and one another. Thank you also for giving us (those you don't actually know) a chance to continue to follow you.
People are cruel....I really hate that they picked on a precious angel like Meron. Sorry guys.
Meron,
Not only are you beautiful, but you are very smart! Your mommy and daddy are smart too.
You and your family did a wonderful, generous thing in asking for Anonymous's heart to be helped, it surely must have a very big booboo.
All the best to you and your family Meron!
Katie,
awww what a powerful message!!! What a Beautiful little girl...people can be so blind...
