Oceans of Justice

Can you imagine Jesus visiting your church on any given Sunday and then filling out a comment card to drop in the offering bucket? Would it look like this?

If I had written this you best believe people would be all over me - calling me out, telling me to leave the church alone. Quit being so judgmental. Quit being so crazy. Quit being so radical.

Luckily, Amos, the first biblical prophet whose words were ever recorded in a book said it before I could. Whew.

Check it out: Amos Speaks God's Truth! He dropped this knowledge in like 750 BC - and it's still relevant today. Talk about a timeless statement. Amos was bringing it!

What are you doing to bring about oceans of justice? What about rivers of fairness?

May God give us a humility and persistance that looks to the nations with sorrow and passion to make a difference instead of a name. I miss your wife! =)

Thank you. This is exactly where I am coming from... It's time we all simplified... What if it was just about Jesus... now that's radical!

key word is SIMPLIFY. Hard for us old folks to do, but I am sure trying day by day.

Thanks for the Amos rant
and connecting it with todays religious system.

Here's more from Isaiah 1:1-20. ;-)

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:
them also I must bring, and they shall **hear my voice;**
and there shall be “ONE” fold, and “ONE” shepherd.
John 10:16

One Fold - One Shepherd - One Voice.
If Not Now, When?

Be blessed in your search for Truth... Jesus.
