Running at 100% Again!

Laura made it safely back today! Camp Hoffman is running at full speed again. I know that God stretched her, shaped her and changed her heart, mind and soul.

All I wanted to do tonight was kick it and look at her pictures and hear stories... guess what though? We're thinking God is prepping us for something else - cuz shortly after we hit Christian Chicken (Meron's request) and got home - we lost all power at our house.

Never knew Austell, GA to have rolling blackouts! Maybe we're getting prepared for something more. So I had to make this quick run to Starbucks and their free wifi to post... I know... I am weird... but didnt want today to be my first missed post in 2+ years!

Thanks everybody for all of the prayers - last day recap coming soon. You guys continue to be the coolest...

Thanks for going to Starbucks to post! Your blog is the first one I read every morning and I can't tell you how sad I would have been if I would rushed downstairs, got my coffee, ran to the computer only to find NO POST! :o)

I've truly enjoyed your blog. I guess I started reading around the time you guys were in Ethiopia to get Meron. You both have inspired me and I'm hear to tell ya that God is laying some heavy stuff on my heart lately and I'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with what I read on your blog!

Can't wait to see the pictures from Laura's trip and hear all about it!

i love your blog!
it's weird that at the same time you were writing about Laura loving Uganda and the possibility of being called again, i got an e-mail from Nightlight Christian Adoptions. they are taking applications for a ministry trip to Uganda where a new baby's home has opened up. the trip will be in October.

just a thought.
