Birthmothers and Yogli Mogli

Today was pretty special for 2 reasons: Yogli Mogli and Birthmothers.

Meron had a pretty good day today in the behavior category and we decided to hit Yogli Mogli for some frozen yogurt. Matter of fact - we decided to make it the main (and only) course for dinner. Don't Judge!

We piled 'em high with healthy toppings like strawberries, blueberries, pineapples, raspberries, sprinkles and M&M's. Then we all jumped in the back of the Xterra to enjoy. LOVED IT!

The other thing that made today special was the fact that it is Birthmother's Day.

We spent the day thinking about, praying for and being insanely thankful for 3 VERY SPECIAL women in our lives - 2 of whom we will never ever meet.

These women made gigantic sacrifices. They made choices at a level of difficulty that most of us will never even imagine. And because of them our family is the way it is today, our life is pointed in the direction it is today and our relationship with God is the way it is today.

Ladies - we will NEVER stop standing in awe of you...

Really moving, lovely post. Thank you for expressing the feelings of so many adoptive parents so eloquently. Awesome.
