Forever Grateful...

Literally like the day after we got our referral for Mebrate I hopped in a car to deliver formula to Team Alexander in TX. They were leading the first EthiopiaSmile mission trip and were carrying 300 pounds of formula for us.

That was great. It was awesome. But something else they did will forever be etched in to our memory. These guys went and visited our girl for us. And they didn't just visit - they hugged her. They kissed her. And then - they circled up and prayed over her.

Check it out...

I am a sissy. I'll admit it. I cry my eyes out every time I watch this. Happy tears. Joyful tears. Grateful, grateful tears...

I simply can't wait for the day when Mebrate is old enough to watch this video and see just how loved she was from the very beginning.

Thank you Team Alexander and the rest of the EthiopiaSmile team. We are forever grateful...

Oh my word. We are just crushed by the preciousness of this, and by her little face. God is so stinkin' good to use her little life in such a big way.

We'll try hard not to be jealous that the amazingly sweet Alexander family got to hug and squeeze her already.

Praying, praying, praying!

So sweet. What a gift!

Gotta admit, I cry too! It was such a gift to all of us that got to see her, love her and tell her of her family that was waiting for her. Did you notice that I ask Laurel to pray because I will cry?? Typical. :) Then I start crying when she is praying......

Praying for a quick embassy appointment so that girl can finally be home!

Praise God for the ministry of others. Praise God as He continues to use you Laura and Tymm as you touch others lives. Praise God for this beautiful little girl. May she be at home with you soon and may she grow to know His plans for her life. God Bless you all...

Hi Laura & Tim,

That is so sweet! I can't blame you for being tearful (joyfully though), as I was tearful myself watching the video. Mebrate seemed quiet, I bet that is not going to last long once she meets her sister Meron.

It is nice of Team Alexander to do that; they are loving family just like you guys. I am happy for you the court approval is behind and hope the day Mebrate joins the family won't be too long.

God Bless,
Challa
