Big Open Spaces

Right now big, open spaces are trumping multiple adult faces when it comes to Zechariah and him really transitioning and bonding well with us.

So this morning - while the girls all headed to church - me and Z headed out to a local football field for a little corporate worship of our own!

We're not the crazy fanatical type of fitness family - but we do like to try and keep in okay shape. So it was time to break in little Z and introduce him to a field workout.

He was digging it right off the bat...

Until a little something caught his eye...

These guys had him as a captive audience for quite some time!

But he finally snapped out of it...

and got his kick on!

The checkered end zone was a pretty big hit as well!

Until he suddenly declared what appeared to be "Half a touchdown!"

and proceeded to start talking to his bird friends again!

Towards the end he tried to get in on some push-ups with me...

They were a little tough for him...

so he resorted to using that melon of his as a kickstand!

Looking back... I'd say it was one of the best days we've had together so far!

Loved every minute of it Z!
