Running For Brighton - Race #26 - Heroes vs. Villains

When Brighton passed away I said i was going to run 76 races in honor of his 76 days he was here on earth. I slacked a little but I am trying to pick it up a bit. Today I woke up before the sun and headed out to run in a 5k that pitted heroes vs. villains.

It was rainy but it was fun to run with some friends and I actually ended up with 2nd in my age group - which scored me a cash prize... yay for me!

The kids LOVE to rock the hardware and shirts - and I love that it gives me a chance to talk to them about Brighton and why I am running. The hills were hard - but they always make me reflect on the fact that what is hard to me would be considered a privilege for most of the kids like Brighton. It's all about perspective...

You wanna help out an orphan or two (or a million)? It's real easy - just ask us about ways to get involved or connect with us at "Brighton Their World" as we try to bring new and exciting opportunities for EVERYBODY to help brighten the world of orphans around the globe.
