Empty Rooms, Full Hearts

The rooms are all empty - but what we've come to find out is that the stuff in those rooms has absolutely nothing to do with the love that has overflowed throughout this house. Throughout our family. God doesn't need that stuff or the walls of a house to accomplish His goals. In our case - He filled that house up with enough love to make it a home.

As we walked through the house last night praying in every single room for the family to come - there wasn't a dry eye in the place. Meron and Mebbie summed it up well when they said:

"God - thank you so much for the time we spent in our house and in our room. Thank you Jesus for protecting us and making us feel safe. Please make whoever comes to live in this room next feel as safe as you did for us. In Jesus' name... Amen."
Be still my heart. They get it. They really get it.

This house - as much as we have loved it - wasn't what made it the home it was. That was all God.

Girls... thank you for your witness. Your daddy needs it.
