Advocacy Trail

I love where I work. i haven't been able to say that in a LONG time - but I really, really do.

And since today was one of those days that discreetly snuck in to the upper 50's with warm sun... this crew (and Laura) showed up after work to walk the "Advocacy Trail" - a hiking trail that exists on Compassion's property.

This trail is designed to get you thinking about children in vulnerable places and how YOU are part of the solution for them.

There are "Prayer Points" positioned every so often with quotes like this:

"The potential possibilities of any child are the most intriguing and stimulating in all creation."
Followed up by some specific things that you can pray about as far as ways to get involved.

I mean.. seriously? I work here?

These guys were loving it... warm weather.. family all together... outside...

their little brother! these are a few of their favorite things...

They had us read every single prayer point we passed. I love that they care about this kind of stuff at their age.

these two even managed to squeeze in some snuggling and big sister kissing...

Thankful for a lot of things today like trails, family, sun, warmth, Compassion, advocates...

Just thankful God. Thanks...
