Table For Six

Last week the school had a book fair - and this girl came home with a cook book she bought with her own money.

She was loving it!

So this evening she hosted her very first dinner party - where she cooked and served some of her friends a meal!

She was SO PUMPED!

She made meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato icing...

some kind of amazing cheesey pull-apart bread (this CLEARLY was not whole30 compliant!)

and a delicious summer salad to go with it all!

Her dessert was a peach and strawberry dump cake (not pictured) topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

The meal was awesome to watch (and listen to).

Laura and I sat at the bar and ate and just listened to these guys have the best conversation about just about everything!

And judging on the leftovers (or lack of) - the meal was a hit!

We told Meron she could turn her dinner party into a monthly thing... and I'm looking forward to what she whips up next!

Way to cook, way to serve others and way to be awesome, Meron!
