Superbowl Bound

Growing up right outside of Pittsburgh - you'd think I'd be a gigantic Steelers fan. I am really not. I actually pulled for the Oakland Raiders as a kid.

But with Meron going as Polamalu for Halloween we have started to pay more attention to them (and him in particular). We dig his hair. We dig him as a person. So now... we kinda dig the Steelers. We're not fair-weather fans. More like fair-hair fans.

So tonight - we busted out the jerseys in support of them.

Favorite quote of the night - we're on our way to church rocking our jerseys and Meron says from the backseat:

"Daddy - when do I get to put my hair down like Troy?"
Love it...

Being an Eagles fan and all, it's hard for me to say this, but Meron is so darn cute in her little jersey that I will consider cheering for the Stealers for the Superbowl. (When my family disowns me, I'll blame the Hoffmans.)

GO STEELERS!!! I grew up in Youngstown... so we had the choice of the Browns or the Steelers. I choose the Steelers since everyone else choose the Browns. haha!

I am surprised you rooted for the raiders in steeler country and lived to blog about it ;). I am a Cowboys fan so most unhappy with both of my choices. I will probably spend most of the day rooting against big ben and thus against the steelers.
