Circling Up The Wagons & Heading Out West

Why might this crazy trio be dressed up in some winter wear in GA you ask? Well - it's simple really... WE'RE MOVING TO COLORADO!

That's right. After a lengthy, intense and in-depth interview process, I have been blessed with the gift of a job offer to work with Compassion International! And we accepted it!

So shortly after new years, we're doing like Kid Rock says and "packing up our bags and heading out West..."

This one right here is TOTALLY STOKED about learning to snowboard. I ain't gonna lie - I am totally stoked to help teach her!

This little cutie is smiling this big because she has NEVER SEEN SNOW - and that's about to change!

And this guy here? Man - he is down for WHATEVER! If his sisters are doing it - count him in!

Following God can be scary - He never said it'd be simple. And this has been no different than that - but as long as this crew is together and we're looking at Him - we'll be doing exactly what we're supposed to be doing!

So thankful for all the love, support and encouragement we continue to receive from friends, family and even strangers (who have quickly become friends).

THANK YOU GUYS! We couldn't do this without you!

Praise God. So what was the job you landed? Housing yet? Lots of great churches. It's interesting while they do get some major snows the ground is not white all winter. And most snows are in late fall and early spring. Now in the mountains is another story. Haha. Love and prayers.

Tim, my new title is "Digital Production Manager" - great team with a bunch of talented great people. Looking forward to it...

Yes - we secured a rental yesterday... SOOO looking forward to some snow (I'm a snowboarder at heart - can't wait to dust off the board)!

Thanks so much - we'll take all the prayers we can get!

Congratulations on the new job opportunity and move! We once tried Colorado for a short while. Turns out it was a little too chilly for us Californians. But, nothing but fun memories for the 6 months we were there. Can't wait to see pictures of your kids in the snow.
Good luck to you and your family.
Love your blog!
PS- How is Laura's Dad doing? Sending good thoughts.
