In His Lap

I was pretty excited today to have Laura, her Mom and the crazies come by work for a tour of the place and a chance to get a deeper look at what Compassion International does.

The girls impressed me and paid super close attention to everything that was being said.

They got to hear the whole Compassion story...

They got to see some videos that showed how Compassion is making an impact all over the world.

They even got the chance to go inside a model of what a typical home in an under-developed country could look like.

But when i asked them where they wanted to have their pictures taken... they screamed:

"In Jesus's Lap!
And they went scampering to climb up on Him...

See Compassion International keeps Jesus smack dab in the center of their business plan, their mission, their day to day and everything else they do. And they refuse to waiver on that or apologize for it. I LOVE this.

They also keep Him smack dab in the center of their building lobby in the form of a larger than life statue of Him.

In Matthew 19:14, Jesus says:
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
And today they did just that - completely unhindered.

Girls... keep on running to Him. Don't ever stop. Your old daddy is going to try to be more like you guys...
