Dear Laura...

Dear Laura ~

A solo picture of you right here to kick this off would do it no justice - cuz that just isn't who you are. Nope - this picture here actually captures you in your fullness.

The best stinking mom any kid could ever have - full of love for them from head to toe. Willing to do crazy things for them like hop on a plane - not look back and say "I'm going to get our girl..." even when the government said "Not yet."

That's just who you are.

Fearless...

And as we sit here tonight thinking about tomorrow morning - thinking about things like "pathology reports" and "surgical consults" and "oncologists" - I have to fight the urge to get upset, scared or angry. Because... that's not at all what you would do. And you haven't.

Nope - this last week you have been nothing short of Jesus on earth. And I - even having known you for 15 years now - I have been in AWE of you.

And while I could go on and on and on about you... who you are, what you're made of, why you're so awesome... what I really wanna say is this:

I do not know of anybody else anywhere on this planet that is more up for this challenge He has given us.

Right here... right now... in this moment... He built you for this. You have to trust that. The Holy Spirit lives in you and He is ready for this!

You are strong.

You are fearless.

You are determined.

And You are His.

Don't you dare ever forget it!

You also have three little maniacs in your corner who talk to Him regularly and have been beating down His door about their mommy this last week or so.

You GOT this.

And while it doesn't amount to much really - you also have me. Always. Forever.

I will never leave you. I promise to pray for you twice as much as I have this past week.

This is an "US" thing babe. Not a "YOU" thing.

You have lifted me up more times than you'll ever know... now it's my turn.

Laura Hoffman... you mean the absolute world to me. You've shown me Jesus on a level I never could have imagined and I am beyond grateful, humbled, blessed and privileged to call you my wife.

Let's go do this tomorrow... you and me.

WE GOT THIS.

Love, Tymm
